The hatha yoga classes at Mountain Spirit Yoga create a safe place for you to explore your body and its deep connection with your mind and spirit. Yoga classes offer detailed instruction in the proper alignment of your body in a balanced sequence of yoga postures (asanas) that both strengthen and stretch your body, integrating breath and movement in a focused flow of energy. Most classes are taught in the Kripalu Yoga tradition. Kripalu Yoga practice develops vitality in the body, calms the mind, and deepens self-awareness, as well as enlivening your life “off the mat.” However, the teachers at Mountain Spirit Yoga offer their unique blend of training and experience in other major yoga styles as well, including Viniyoga, Prana Flow, Life Force Yoga, Body Balance Yoga, and Budding Yogis Kids Yoga.
