The hatha yoga classes at Mountain Spirit Yoga create a safe place for you to explore your body and its deep connection with your mind and spirit. Yoga classes offer detailed instruction in the proper alignment of your body in a balanced sequence of yoga postures (asanas) that both stretch and strengthen your body, integrating breath and movement in a focused flow of energy. Most of the classes are taught in the Kripalu Yoga tradition, which seeks to develop vitality in the body, calm the mind, and deepen self-awareness, as well as enlivening your life “off the mat.”  However, the teachers at Mountain Spirit Yoga offer their unique blend of training and experience in many other yoga styles as well, including Viniyoga, Prana Flow, Life Force Yoga, and Body Balance Yoga.
