…with rare new moon solar eclipse
Today is the Summer Solstice – the longest day of the year when the sun is at its highest and most northern point in the sky. This year it coincides with a new moon solar eclipse – the “Ring of Fire” – a rare event that can be seen over parts of Asia and Africa.
This rare alignment of the sun and moon invites us to celebrate our unique journey and to reflect on the alignment of our everyday world with our higher vision for our lives.
Nature Reflection
My times of reflection always take me into nature – to the beautiful patterns and expressions of life that occur in nature’s cycles. To honor the Summer Solstice this year, I created a flower mandala in a corner of one of my gardens. It’s a lovely meditation practice that you may want to try for yourself.
