Starting Monday Sept. 16, 2019 the construction on Middletown’s Main Street reaches our block, as the crews remove the lid to an old under-ground culvert and replace it with a new one.
This requires flagging on Main Street and at the light at Main Street and Rte. 17 between 8:45am – 2:45pm. The crews will also be tearing out sidewalk on the south side of Main Street in our block. This is in addition to work still in progress on the further west end of Main Street.
What does this mean for you?
* Take alternate routes to the studio to avoid the light at Main Street and Rte. 17.
* Leave extra time to get to class due to flagging operations.
* Be prepared to look for additional parking in the Elm Street lot in case the lot behind the building is full.
* Be super careful walking along the sidewalks or crossing Main Street for the next few weeks.
